SPOILSPAPERS

A spoilspaper is a tabloid-format artwork printed on an industrial newspaper printing press. The gestural and abstract imagery originates from the spoils (accidental and incidental prints created during a newspaper print-run) and photographs of the materials and technologies of the printing site.

Three spoilspapers have been made: Twofold, Fourfold and Eightfold. Some have been exhibited at the Fremantle print award and the National Works on Paper exhibition.
